About Us

Purpose:
To Stimulate public awareness of bass fishing as a major sport. To offer our state conservation department our moral support and encouragement. To improve our skills as bass anglers through a fellowship of friendly exchange of expert bass catching techniques and ideas, and to promote and encourage youth fishing, and a love for this recreation.

Awards Ceremony held at Underwood Auditorium

The annual awards ceremony was held December 1st at Underwood Auditorium in Flowood, MS. Club members and their guests enjoyed a great meal catered by Kitchen Diva and a good time was enjoyed by all. A tribute was paid to long time member, Kelvin Newsome who we lost in October. Kelvin will be missed as he was an enthusiastic member and supportive whether fishing, cooking and providing a brotherly, festive atmosphere.

2024 Angler of the Year, George Wells, Classic Winner, Jeremiah Jones, and Lunker of the Year winner Dalton Laster were presented with their hardware as top anglers for the 2024 season. 2024 was another highly competitive season with the club roster at the maximum 50 anglers battling for angling supremacy. CMB is truly a regional fishing organization with members from Natchez, Forest, Morton, Wiggins, Jackson Metro and other areas. Congratulations again to the top finishers!!!

We're preparing for the 2025 season and looking forward to even more competitive tournament results as CMB continues to attract some of the best fishermen in the central Mississippi area. It's going to be another down to the last club tournament year to make into the Classic!
